The reason I wondered about this is that the new(ish) Skye bridge was a very expensive toll bridge when opened but is now toll free, I just don't know the story.

Talking of bridges - this one is called "The New Bridge" its in Ronda in Spain - it links the old part of Ronda to the New part - it was built over 200 years ago! . . . . . . . . .

And now I'm really curious, if you use the chunnel to get there, then surely you're no longer going overseas

Ello :p New here :D

We don't do titles here, they are seen to be a little naff  but I get Office Manager put upon me.

Anyway, I hate Access but have been forced to produce a database with it because apparantly it's waaaay better than Excel. I'm sure.

I've never used Access, in fact, I've avoided it like the blooming plague.

I have to reproduce our entire Excel spreadsheet set up we have, seriously, there are loads, into Access. I'm finding this a little too much.. I've only been on two training courses and have a few workbooks but err I need help.. Could anyone recommend any good books/help?

Kez

I am a Document Control and Development Officer. No idea why they call me an officer because I'm in a law office.

I do whatever I am told, and recently that is very little, so I frequent AWF a lot. I did learn how to use Access on company time, so that's been nice.

Maybe one day I'll get a job that involves mechanical engineering... so that my current degree path isn't a complete waste.

however try access for Dummies as a starter - and then a version of Access Bible both of these will help -

main thing is understand normalisation ...
