I keep forgetting and it's driving me crazy, how do I eliminate the left grey rectangle on the form? what property?

its not rubbish though

in a continuous form, the record selector enable you to pick an indivdual record.

it alos carries a black arrow/wedge that indicates the current record. this changesto a pencil when the record has been changed
