Listboxes changing values (1 Viewer)

I have a multiselect listbox that displays 2 columns column, 1 lists computer acessories,

Tft Monitor
Wireless Network Card
Local Printer etc


In column 2 I want to change the value from no to yes or from 0 to 1 when the item is selected (like a pick list) is this possible ???

I am fairly new to access and would be grateful for any help (If possible and if any one has the time a small example for me to study would be a great help)

I think I would be inclined to create a separate table for recording the item selected, and use a sub form to allow selection of it.
