To one and all, have a happy holiday whether you are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or some other joyous moment, or even if you only use the holiday as an excuse to gather family just because you can!
Life's too short to not celebrate, appreciate, and show love to all around you - whether they believe as you do or in total antithesis of your beliefs. There is no excuse for virulent hatred and today is the perfect time to lay aside all those bad feelings.
I'm taking just a moment before the rest of the family gets here and we have our "shredded paper snowstorm" when the grandkids get at the presents. We've cooked for a small army - but then again, we INVITED a small army, so it should work out OK.
