Multi Value Combo box

Hi All,

Looking for some help please on multivalue combo boxes.

I have a db that assigns materials to a task on a form.

Each material has an install time (norm) & a cost per unit.

On a previous version this was not multivalue, and you could type in the combo box and it would auto complete until what you typed in didn't exist in the table it looked up.

Now it doesn't allow me to do this, as soon as I type in the box I just get an error ding!

I've looked through the settings but cant seem to find anything that would change this.

This isn't an essential but might saves me from trawling through a list of info to get to the item I want?

Any ideas?

Research Listbox. You can get multi select listbox. I don't think multi-select combo exists. I have 2010 and it isn't in it.

I think the multi-select combo is associated with a multi-value field. I haven't and likely never will use the multi-value field, so I have no first-hand experience.

Thanks Paul. I avoid MVF (and Lookups at field level), so do not have experience there either.

why not change the underlying field back to what it was.
