Hi All,

Like most introductions here, I'm new to MS Access and slowly being won over by all things Access. I hope that one day I can help and contribute to the group as much as I learn and take from it!

I'm currently working with Parent/Child relationship type data so any advice is welcomed.
I've recently completed an Access VBA course (but still learning) so I know most of my solutions will deal heavily with the VBA.

To all the experts on here, it can not be said enough "Thank you!"

Welcome. We love nerds here! How did you find us?

A lot of google searches while I've been trying to learn and develop the db.
The new look is great btw. I was slow to say hi a few weeks ago.

Ah, so you saw the old site then. Any feedback on the difference? Does it make a difference in the likelihood of you returning? We have dark mode theme here too, if you like that sort of thing.

Welcome to AWF.

I'm sure the dark mode will come in handy when I'm banging my head against the wall late at night! I would appreciate the dark mode; the neighbours won't appreciate the banging noise!

Hi LeeMo. Welcome to AWF!

There is the theme selector bottom left hand corner. Helps rest my eyes in the evening.

Welcome and look into buying a small pillow and some duct tape for that part of the wall.

if you continue in this business leemo, what you'll find is tha *everything* in the programming world is based on *parent-child*-type relationships. everything from object-orientation, ms access' built-in, objects, programming architectures, etc.... so you're off to a good start, no doubt. welcome =)
