Hello all!
While I am fairly new to database work (jumped in about 4 months ago) I pick things up quickly, and have some experience with programming languages and understand syntax and structure pretty well.
I'm working on a few different types of databases for work ranging from simple equipment check out (using a hand scanner with bar codes,) to more interactive environments that are constantly updated (as in every few seconds.) I'm having to come up with ways to make things work in a way that is natural to the users, so i'm sure that some things i'm doing are not quire optimum or the most efficient. Usually, if the end result is what I expected i'm happy.
Normally I can search for what i'm looking for, if I know the correct terminology, and usually find what i'm looking for. I'm entering some more advanced techniques now, so I've decided to join so I can ask specific questions of you fine folks.
Thanks in advance!
