Hi all,

I probably know the answer to this question, but believe me I am desperate - so I ask anyway!

I spent a whole day writing some VB code, creating new forms etc. - saved the .mdb, created and .mde which I sent to my customer. Then went out to party..... my backup routine runs at midnight - and around 8:30 some wierdo broke into my house and stole my laptop! Now I have only the MDE that I sent the customer.... is there ANYWAY of reversing this process???

Thanks for the time!
Marion

The only guy I can refer you to would be Wayne Philips:

everythingAccess.com

for which he does a MDE reversal service upon proof of ownership.

Be prepared for pay for the service.

Thanks a lot - what I feared! Seeing as it's "only" 1 days work I have lost it's cheaper just to redo it! Damn... don't you just hate thieves!

hard to avoid in the case of theft - although it does point to keeping a backup of anything important on a separate device away from the computer - a memory stick, or a hard drive - you get much the same result with a hard disk crash!

Thanks! As I said my backp runs at midnight every night onto a external drive which is well hidden - they didn't find that! Just didn't reckon anyone would steal my computer between 6 and 9 on a Saturday night!

Thanks anyway
Marion
