Hello, I have the database on a stand alone PC, and the PC is not used. Many users share the file and I have the tables linked on their PC's and I import the forms etc on their PC's.

We may have up to 9 users at a time and still have lock-ups and corruption.

Any simple solutions?

thanks,

Split the database into a front end with non data objects and a back end with tables only. Put the FE on each users PC, linking the BE tables which reside on a shared network drive.

Go to menu "Tools/Options/DefaultRecordLocking" and be sure that "No Locks" is set.

If you've split your database and all your users have a copy of the front end on their machines have you tried importing all the front end objects into a blank database and do a 'Compact & Repair' on the front end tables?

Try this and see if it helps.
