Neutral is best. When a fair trial is not possible due to local bias, then yes, the trial needs to be moved.

Neither of these cases constituted a crime and both were designed specifically for DJT. Letitia James ran her campaign on "get Trump". That is very Stalinesque if you know anything about history. The other idiocy was a law that was resurrected for a limited time so they could find an idiot to lie and accuse Trump and go through with a trial.

Georgia seems to be falling apart at the moment. That one was also not a crime. Asking the Governor to investigate potential election fraud is not a crime. It is part of the job of the Executive branch of which the President is the head. So, even if you don't like the words Trump used to ask, it was still a request and it was part of the duty of his job and therefore falls under the Presidential Immunity understanding. If Fani and Willi need to be thrown off the case and into jail where they belong, I doubt the next prosecutor will pursue the issue.

Florida was yet another persecute Trump but condone worse actions by Biden.
If I walk into Tiffany's and walk out with a diamond necklace and they catch me, did I still commit a crime if I give the necklace back? Yes. However, in your world, you have convinced yourself that since Biden gave the top secret documents back, he didn't commit a crime. WRONG!!!!!!!!! He never had the authority to take the documents in the first place and people who do this go to jail. So, given a different administration, Biden will be charged when he leaves office and he will go to jail. See what "you" did. Also Pence is in jeopardy because he also didn't have the authority to take secret documents. If Trump prosecutes Biden, to be fair, he also needs to prosecute Pence and if there is no statute of limitations, he should also include Hillary. You and I would go to jail for what Biden, Pence, and Clinton did.

Of the 4 cases, 3 are non-crimes that they are persecuting Trump with and the fourth is an outright lie.
There is a marked difference between Trump docs and Old Joes. People in the White house found the document in Joe's garage.

  • The White House discovered classified documents from Biden's time as vice president at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C.
  • The documents were found while Biden's personal attorneys were packing files that were stored in a locked closet at the think-tank, the White House said.
  • On the day of this discovery, Nov. 2, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office notified the National Archives. The Archives took possession of the materials the following morning," the White House said in January.
  • Biden's personal lawyer informed Lausch that additional documents with classified markings were identified at two locations, including his garage, inside the president's personal residence in Wilmington, Del.
However, in Trumps case he was asked several times to return all the documents that he had at his home in Florida, and he refused, which caused Justice to obtain a search warrent. One of his attornys had to sign a document that all the documents hed been returned when they had not. Trump claimed, falsely, that documents were his, when the law clearly states they were not. Plus he showed a battle plan to people that did not have clearances. Joe cooperated and Trump did not. If Donald had retuerned the documents when first asked he would not be in the picklke he is in.
The special prosecuter that did not prosecute Biden was a Trump appointee.

The main difference between Biden's classified documents and Trumps are, Biden as senator or vice president wasn't allowed to have them, period. President Trump was allowed. In other words Biden got a break that Trump did not.

Trump was not allowed to keep the documents that were taken to Florida. Senators and Vice President do see and hold classified documents. They found 10 documents at Bidens home, Trump had boxes and boxes of documents, some stored in a bathroom. I repeat,if Donald had honored the initial request from archives it would have been over, That's not my assertion, but that of highly respected lawyers, both left and right.

And the number of classified documents matter how? Please explain.
You fail to see that Biden cooperated and Trump hoarded. Had Trump done the same thing as Joe he would be free and clear. If Joe had ferreted the documents and denied that he had them, then I would agree with you. But his own people discovered the first docs and immediately reported to justice. FBI had to get a search warrent for Trumps place in order to retieve the documents. Why, then, did the special council, a lawyer initially appointed by Trump drop any prosecution? Did he undergo a left wing mind meld, was he given drugs? Or ded he find that there was no there there.

Your argument is clear, it's okay to have a two tiered system of justice, as long as your guy is on the top tier.

Way more secure with secret service at the location, Biden as a senator had no such protection.
Not really. The SS is there to protect the ex- president, citizen trump, only. The do not provide security for Mar-a-Lago. They did not even have a visitors log of who came and went from there. @20 secret service agents testified at the grand jury that indicted trump. SS agents also do not rat out their protected subjects as it would jeopardize the trust between them and their subjects. Unless of course they are in a grand jury.

Biden and Pence lived in private residences. Trump lives in a social club and wedding venue.

Very easy for a few documents to get mixed in with other papers and this has happened many times in the past. It's a little more difficult to explain away dozens and dozens of boxes of classified docs.

I'm sure you've heard the term Mens Rea before. Citizen trumps failure to turn over the docs when requested fulfills that prong in the obstruction charges. Biden's situation lacks the intent citizen trumps case has.

You keep arguing that "he gave them back so it doesn't count". That isn't the way this works. TAKING the documents was the crime and therein lies the difference between the two situations. Biden commited a crime by taking the documents. Trump did not. As the President, he had full authority to take the documents and declassify them - which he says he did. It is of course, imperative that you call Trump a liar but there are no rules except those set by the President himself for how a document gets declassified. For some reason, you refuse to understand this. I guess it is because if you accept this one fact, your whole position falls apart so cognitive dissonance prevents it.

A is an actual crime. B is not a crime. you may not like the person who did B but that still doesn't make it a crime. There are no criminal penalties with the presidential records act. Trump was VISITED IN PERSON and the documents he had evaluated. The library took what they wanted. The rest were under discussion. Trump wasn't refusing to relinquish them. There was no reason short of grand-standing in front of the election to raid Trump's home by dozens of men with rifles. If you can't understand the facts regarding what is a crime and what is not, then there is no hope. You will stick to your idiotic defense that "he gave the diamond necklace back" so there was no crime committed. Once you accept that what Biden did was an actual crime, only then is further discussion possible.

Respectfully, we do not agree.

Not the way it works Pat.

Yes there are Pat.

because it's incorrect.

If you can't understand the facts regarding what is a crime and what is not
Look in the mirror Pat.
