Started with Access 2000 adp, recently converted this into accdb (1 Viewer)

I am an older developer, started using Access around 2000, had used Foxpro before. I have been able to keep the ERP project, called Carpe Diem, alive for a small customer base, Access as a client, and SQL Server as the backend. I did it all independently, and for a long time without the help of forums. Formed as an engineer in electronics, not a typical ICT profile.
Recently I have converted the older adp project into accdb for a client still using it since 2002. The adp is still in use though, as the accdb is still not completely operational, due to sometimes unexpected behaviour, mostly when using bound forms.
I don't dare to claim being an expert in this community. But sometimes I could answer questions, knowing how long I've been working with Access.
The actual issue today was error 3197 when saving on a bound form. I wanted to react, with the hint of adding a timestamp field to the server table to edit in a bound Access form. This has worked for me, and I don't know anymore where I had found that hint years ago, when converting an mdb with link to SQL server data.
I want to thank everyone here, for helping Access projects going, as sometimes they are crucial for a client!

Welcome Martin from a new member myself. I also had developed a large adp project linked to SQL Server many years ago that I had to convert to accdb. Many things were much easier using an adp and miss the ability to directly use TSQL queries for Record/RowSources in forms, controls, and reports.
