Many thanks for allowing me into your world of Access, I’m a newbie who has decided to re-learn Access as a hobby, having used it in it’s infancy, probably 40yrs ago now, in the age of reel-to-reel :) - I have just started a project to catalogue my records/CD collection, and am pulling in all the help and resources I can find to help me build it.

Hi Robert, wellcome to AWF ....

Undertaking a project like you describe is in my opinion, the best way to get your teeth into MS Access.

Welcome aboard! Two other members just recently took on a similar project so you should be able to pick up a few pointers here and there.

Welcome again

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Probably not 40 years ago because Access was released in 1992 - 29 years ago. But maybe it just SEEMED like it was that old.

Thinking about other people's challenges and participating in the quest for solutions & accompanying conversations ... Helps US get better too!

Thanks for being here 😊
