Transferring digital video to DVD (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I capture significant amounts of footage using my Sony PC9 and wish to edit this on to DVD. I have access to u-lead Media Shop Pro which I intended to use, but I have noticed that I cannot get the time/date display to also be transferred. Really, i would like the time/date display to appear on the DVD as it does my camera.

I understand that this is something to do with the way that the camera records the information to the mini DV casette.

Does any one out there know a way round this problem?

There should be a button on your camera remote control that allows you to display the date & time when playing back the tape or transferring the material.

I think it may be called "Display" or something.

Anyway…

Instead of displaying the date & time continually why don't you create your own title at the beginning of your clip that shows the date & time, It looks better and is less irritating, unless you want this for a particular reason like a CCT camera or something.
