All of this moaning and groaning about "due process" is ANOTHER joke. His "due process" was a hearing (which resulted in a deportation order) and an appeal (which resulted in upholding the deportation order.) The "illegal deportation" was actually a clerical error, but even THAT dissolved once MS-13 was declared a gang of international terrorists. At that point, the order holding him here lost any legal basis it might have had.

Alan Dershowitz clarified (paraphrased) that "due process" depends on the circumstances involved. In cases involving illegal entry into the US, "due process" is as simple as immediately deporting them. Illegal immigrants are not entitled to an endless series of judicial appeals on top of endless judicial appeals. The Democrats are gaslighting the public by purposely obfuscating the concept of "due process", not to mention that they refer to Kilmar Abrego Garcia as a saintly "Maryland dad" as an attempt at misdirection. Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador who illegally entered the US and appears to have committed crimes while in the US. Garcia has exhausted his non-deserved "due process" and has been returned to his home country. Case closed.

Fact our medical system lags behind almost all of the rest of the 1st nations.

@moke123 On reflection, your comment regarding deporting 2-year old children was despicable. If you want to have a conversation regarding what happens to dependent children when their sole caregiver is incarcerated or deported, we can do it because that is a tragic social issue where we create more victims by trying to mete out justice but to single this aberration out was just an attempt to shame your "friends" here. Conservatives are much less likely to be shamed by this type of hypocrisy than liberals are so you tried it in the wrong group. Conservatives recognize the hypocrisy of the question which probably makes them at least 10 IQ points higher on average than the typical liberal.

I see that you cleverly avoided the direct question from my other comment. So are you going to tell us whether or not we are supposed to rescind the deportation order to avoid deporting the "citizen" child along with the parent? Let us not forget that this may affect the spouse also who may be a citizen.

This an ugly situation no matter how you look at it but by your comment which was specifically intended to instill guilt in the hearts of people in favor of deportation, it seems that you think the deportation should be waived if it affects other family members adversely.

Talking frankly about the ugly side effects of the Biden/Harris (let's always include her since she seems to be running in 2028 so that makes her a co-conspirator in this particular crime) open border policy is actually necessary. Honest, caring people need to think about this. And it extends to citizen criminals as well who will be incarcerated leaving dependent children in the wind.

You have more interaction with criminals than I do. I get the desperation crimes and the crimes of passion that are not premediated but everything in between requires a certain amount of thought and planning. Don't the criminals ever consider the effects of their actions on their families? Does anyone ever ask them? I guess they just close their eyes and think they're smart enough to never get caught. My baby brother is pretty smart. Problem is he always goes into a casino knowing he will win. Luckily there are no casinos near his home to tempt him.

@moke123: You seem oblivious to the Democratic game plan. Democrats want people to feel guilty about deporting the hypothetical two year old. The unstated narrative is that Democrats want to stop all deportations. Democrats plan to achieve this by hoping that illegal immigrants will have (citizen) children so that they can make the sob appeal argument that deporting an illegal will break-up the family. Therefore, according to Democrats, there can be no deportations. Seems that you have accepted that odious narrative. That is the ugly situation that Biden/Harris were creating.

Harvard HATES Trump. They will say anything negative that they possibly can. They would blame Trump for the black plague if they thought they could get away with it.

For reasons that escape me, Wall Street has decided to short the market and blame it on tariffs. It is simply not possible for the tariffs to have had any significant impact on anything in the short time they have been effective. All this bad-mouthing and shorting have convinced China to fight rather than come to the table. You are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. Aren't you proud of yourself? Trump seems to be standing firm and enough countries have come to negotiate that we will get through this and eventually China will come around.

A family gets separated because one parent committed a crime and the kid goes with the other parent or (if no available parent) then to Child Protective Sevices. Whether that parent was an illegal alien or a bonafide US citizen, it is common practice that the child and incarcerated parent will be separated. The child cannot be incarcerated for the parent's criminal actions. I am SAD for the child, but I bear no shame for a bad decision by the parent. Don't play "guilt trip" with me. It is the Liberals who tried to foist Critical Race Theory. It is the Liberals who try to virtue-signal by forcing DEI on society. It is the Liberals who try to excuse people from paying off loans. It is the Liberals who want to ignore the illegal entry into the USA of people who flaunt their disregard for our laws. WHERE should I be ashamed for what Liberals have done to tear down this country by fostering disregard for integrity and duty? WHERE??????
