What a truly stupid comment. Usually they comment about what the women are wearing. Apparently Melania didn't offend anyone. I think he likes blue. He wears blue suits a lot. Is that not OK because he's Trump? Or is he supposed to dress in lockstep with the men around him? Is black the only acceptable color for a funeral? Is that what they were insinuating?

For reasons that escape me, Wall Street has decided to short the market and blame it on tariffs. It is simply not possible for the tariffs to have had any significant impact on anything in the short time they have been effective. All this bad-mouthing and shorting have convinced China to fight rather than come to the table. You are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. Aren't you proud of yourself? Trump seems to be standing firm and enough countries have come to negotiate that we will get through this and eventually China will come around.

So how do you feel about deporting 2 year old citizens?

Given the mom was literally asking for it, I'm cautiously "ok" with it in this circumstance. Sounds more like a domestic dispute than anything else.
What riles me is the Dad was given no agency, only the Mom - as if Mom's should always have so much more rights than Dads.

Also riles me that they didn't give the couple quality time to communicate and make a good decision. That was the crime, IMO. Not as much deporting her b/c the Mom essentially wanted girl to come w/her. The whole thing is ugly, tho...But I attribute part of the fault to the people, for sure...When you are a family with half of you illegally here, you pretty much know you'll eventually be either separated, all deported, or real lucky. a lot count on 'lucky', but that's not necessarily the gov's fault.

from what I read there is a question if she was even given the option. By the time the Gov got back to the Judge she was already off the plane. I'm sure there will be more info when the hearing is held in a couple weeks. Apparently there have been 2 or 3 more since.

@Isaac: @moke123's comment above is a gotcha remark. He asks for someone to respond to that hoping that they would feel "shame", but he ignores the fact that the Biden administration was illegally importing millions of people. Many children died because of Biden's human trafficking an child abuse. He flagrantly ignores those deaths but somehow wants you to feel "shame" over one 2 year old. Biden created this humanitarian nightmare. The Democrats feel no shame for the human misery that they created.
