I am a great believer in trying to understand yourself objectively. For this reason, I enjoy taking personality tests for personal insight. Myers Briggs is obviously a well known one, based on Jungian psychology. But there is another which I prefer, which breaks down your personality into 25 different dimensions.
If you feel like taking the test and reporting back here, then I encourage you to do so. It takes 25 minutes. What I recommend before taking the test, is to rate yourself out of 10 for each of the 25 personality dimensions BEFORE taking the test. This way you can get objective insight into where your misperceptions are. If you do it after the test, you will fall fowl to backward rationalisations.
So, my recommended two steps are:
