Access has a new Microsoft MVP, hooray! Welcome to Colin Riddington @isladogs

Colin has deep knowledge of Microsoft Access and builds impressive, creative applications. He shares his knowledge on forums, in videos and presentations, and has lots of information for developers on his website. Colin is also a great teacher.

Colin co-hosts an online Access user group with Alessandro Grimaldi called Access Europe, part of AccessUserGroups.org, which meets the first Wednesday of each month at 18:00 London time (10 am Pacific).

EDIT:

There was a meeting Wednesday 3 August at 18:00 (6PM) UK time. Peter Cole @petertheme demonstrated how to do 32 to 64 bit conversion in Access. The recording will be posted on YouTube when available -- and this post will be updated with its link.

See you there...

Congrats Colin! Well deserved and to those that helped you get there, I have a quote from Kevin Spacey: “If you have done well in whatever business you are in, it's your duty to send the elevator back down and try to help bring up the next generation of undiscovered talent.”

Thank you all for the kind words.
Many thanks to Crystal for encouraging me to apply following a recommendation from Jack Leach
Also thanks for the support from AWF members.

I'll keep well clear of that elevator as well 😮 If I'm going up, the stairs will do fine!😉
