Hi experts,

I am new to this forum. My skills in excel and access are pretty decent. I am a financial analyst and would like to take it to the next level. I am looking to learn VBA. I have been reading some books and know the basics. I have even joined lynda.com to learn more about VBA but didn't find it that useful. Can anyone recommend me where to start? I don't know any coding beside HTML.

Thanks!

I did a set of videos on Locking and Unlocking Controls

There's a sample db you can download that goes with the videos. The VBA shown covers from Beginner to Advanced.

The set of video's was not designed for specifically teaching VBA, it is in answer to a Posters (OP's) question, but I thought it may serve as learning material.

Feed back on this assumption that it will serve as learning material would be appreciated.

Hi to all.

Thank you very much for your replies. I really appreciate the responds. I will definitely use them to start learning.

Uncle Gizmo, thanks. I will give you feedback as soon as I get a chance to review them.

Question, if I have a specific question, asking for VBA coding for a database, should I create a thread?

Yes, of course. There is almost always someone here who will be able to help to get you going in the right direction :)
