Why do women hate the 'C' word?

OK, what about d|ck then, would it not be the reverse of the C word appling to men instead? Just interested in other opinions.

I was thinking about that yesterday as I was posting my response to this thread and while that's not a nice name to call someone either, it doesn't seem to have the same level of negative connotation as the "c" word does. I mean, I've heard guys call each other d|cks when they're just joking around, but you never hear women calling each other the "c" word (boy, it gets tiring typing that  ) in jest. I've only heard it used by women once or twice in an insulting manner. It seems that most of the women I've known have always stayed away from that word because it has been used so negatively in the past.

I can't stand that word, PERIOD! Honestly I had never heard that word before my ex.

Some may not see a problem with it and some do. Everyone is different, and that is a good thing. I mean, I wouldn't want a world of people like me. *laughs* That was be VERY scary!!!

Still don't know what a "c" word is! Am I in a "dark" world or what or is it because I'm a "perfect" citizen who has never used a bad word before?

Can somebody PM me what it is? I know...curiosity killed the cat but heck with it, nothing to lose.

Thanks.

We all know that word is "****" pronounced as "cant".

Do you feel better for posting what is obviously one of the most offensive words known

Germaine Greer presented the case on Monday past on BBC show, Balderdash and Piffle, for bringing '****' into wider circulation: the ten minute segment of the etymology show looked at peoples' perceptions, the history of the word, and the meaning of other, less appropriate (for an errant feminist) words such as ****** (means "sword sheath").

Let her take her suggestion back to Australia then, doesn't she know kids today can't construct a simple three or even two word sentence already without throwing in an expletive.
Nothing like teaching kids the art of vocabulary eh

OK, I give up. I can't think of any more that wouldn't be a stretch. :D

It's my understanding it was used in a joke (correct me if i'm wrong)

So you know what they say!

If you can't stand the heat--Get out of the kitchen
:D
