What celebrating victory in a war which was waged to lower the tax burden of the rich? I thought it was quite unique to the USA to be honest, though I could be wrong as I haven't researched it.

I was refering to the statement that rich americans goes through lengths to avoid paying taxes.
I'm sure they (those rich ones) are not alone in the world to avoid taxation.

papers are there to sell - not to inform and the same can be said of news

it is never impartical (?) - either loaded one way by the producer/report or by the country its in -

Very seldom is there a piece of news that is delivered neutral

someone always tries to get a bit of a view on it or promote themselves soemhow ..
whether they be UK/USA - India/pakistan etc..
