Any Americans want to sign this?

Alisa, this not the time nor the place. You are so wrap up in this election with Hussein Obama. When election is over, I think it would be a good time. You are to wrap to tight, to even try discuss.

Alisa, don't expect me to know what’s going on. I have not been to Iraq, not that I didn't try, but my age kind of put me out, as well as other .......

If you want the real truth, go to a Veterans Hospital and talk with my brothers and sisters, they will tell you. Believe me, you will have a complete different outlook.

I know I do, because I try to go once a month and it takes me 3 weeks to pull myself together.

Just remember the media only shows what will make there rating for that week

You are dodging the question because you know that the Iraqis didn't do anything to us to provoke us to invade their country. Other than living in a part of the world that happens to have a lot of oil, ofcourse. But you would rather say that I am too unreasonable, or whatever, to discuss it than actually say something meaningful. That is lame.

Just took the quiz.

Wow. What. A. Useless. Quiz. I've. Ever. Seen.

I got -58 for OB and 18 for JC. But it was just either OB or JC. What if I wanted Fidel Castro to be my president?!?

And the first section... Wow. Talk about fluff. To weigh on a candidate on basis if he has smoked pot or is a divorcee... *headdesk*

[Ballmer]Substance, substance, substance![/Ballmer]

Haven't you heard? The most important thing you need to consider when picking a candidate is whether they prefer to use the same illegal drugs that you do:rolleyes:

In that case, the quiz screwed because I should be voting for OB. He smoked pot, didn't he?

Don't forget the cocaine too . . .

I wonder about JM though . . . do we know what he was/is on? Besides Ambien ofcourse.

Do remind us why you were in their country to start with?

Rich, it would not make any difference at all what I would say to you. No matter what I say, you don't like us at all. So whats the point to try.:D

With Alisa, she telling me that she cares about America and you wel.........

To be fair, we were all party animals, when we were young.:D

Not dodging the question, its that I have no proof, except the words of the vets that was over there. I know thats hard for you to understand.

But try it go to Veterans Hosiptal and LEARN for your self. Not what some other person is telling you.

Then come back and tell me what you learn.

And you of course would have to reciprocate by visiting the hospitals in Iraq and Afghanistan

If I understand the question, I don't have to go to Iraq or Afghanistan to visit. I visit here in Denver. Did I answer your question?

I sure hope you don't mean the Iraqis, because if you do, why in the hell would I want to do that.
Well you might get to see some of the damage inflicted by America to start with

I think you are missing the point. WHY were they sent over there in the first place? What was the reason to subject our young men and women to so much suffering? For what did they sacrifice so much?

You mean the "right to work for less" states?

Exactly. The right to work for the rate I chose. When I first moved to this area, I had a neighbor who worked for Jeep as a janitor. He was paid $19.00 an hour to clean toilets. I would've been more than happy at the time to take that job for $14.00 hour. But the union doesn't allow that type of thing.;)

McCain 57 Obama -78 I thought I answered neutral on more questions than that. I was looking for the "I don't Care" option in some cases.

Oh, and by "refused to reign in spending", I assume you meant that they continued to approve funding bills for the war that this administration dragged us into.

Yes, exactly that. Oh wait, isn't congress run by Democrats?

So you agree that McCain will continue to not reign in spending by prolonging an unwinnable war, thereby continueing to sink our economy further into the muck?

I think the Dems will win even more seats in the house (and again - the house controls the spending) so yes, uncontrollable spending is bound to continue. Not that I think the republicans would do a whole lot better. That's all controlled by lobbyists. At least McCain has vowed (for what it's worth) to do something about that.

As far as the "unwinnable" war goes.... whatever. I see there's no point in debating that with you.

Actually it's not, but I don't think that necessarily makes a difference. A majority of the legislature has shown themselves to be spineless when put under pressure by the executive branch. In my mind, it is more about who has principles and who is willing to stand up for what is right even when it is unpopular more that which party someone belongs to. People like Feingold, Kucinich, Wexler, and Hagel.

Interesting. Which ones did you answer non-neutrally on?

It is sad to see that the sacrifices of those who gave us the right to belong to unions are so un-appreciated. People died for unions. And now we are complacent, and in some cases it seems we are even grateful to let big corporations walk all over us, workers rights be damned.
