It may or may not have come up, but I have a feeling it's at least 50/50 chance that at some point, during all of our innumerable conversations about Trump and J6th, someone probably quoted at some point a video that BBC put out, which T is now suing for defamation. As it turns out, they spliced together certain pieces of the video and removed parts where he urged his followers to be peaceful. I'm not trying to start any kind of debate on the merits of the underlying issues, only that to be careful because video editing is a real thing - and this would have even fooled me, easily!

Leaves me wondering what else has fooled me over time. Honestly, I'm not a big 'video' person - I tend to read, rather than watch videos, and who knows, maybe it's a good thing. Convince me of something in writing; I can read between the lines. Convince me of something via video, I tend to think God himself has spoken - but that's a mistake.

...that would have left you believing that he DIDN'T really urge his followers to be peaceful, when he actually did. They deleted his caution to act peacefully, and then they spliced together the video to give the opposite impression, almost certainly defamatory
