I'm off to the Lake District in .. ooh about 10 minutes :D:D:D:D .. doing some training walks in preparation for my Coast to Coast walk this summer. Can't wait, although not hugely looking forward to the 6 hour drive to get there!!!!

Anyone else doing something exciting?

If the BBC can make up it's mind, we're having a bbq tomorrow and vowing never to over indulge in alcohol again on Sunday. Sounds rather mundane in comparison...

I am considering stepping outside to fetch the mail.

I may go to Tesco metro or Express intead of normal one the to concentrate the excitement. Heady times indeed.

going to Cuckmere - East sussex (just off eastbourn)
haven't been there for at least 30 years

Had stunning weather on Sunday/Monday, hope your bbq went well oumahexi :)

I went with my daughter, Julia, to the Sculpture Room at Woburn where she was married to Andrew.

I had a brilliant weekend

Oh wow, congratulations Len :) Hope you have lots of photos and memories to cherish :)

So many memories I might need a few more chips.

Thanks Ruth

We hardy Scots don't let a little bit of rain stop us :D The bbq went ahead, regardless, although Sunday would have been a better day for it :p

Another one this week, this time to celebrate my youngest grandsons first birthday!

Happy Birthday Gorgeous George

Ahh good to hear - we're chilling out this weekend although my American Football team have an away game, a local derby at that, so I might be somewhat in demand on Sunday (I do physio/first aid for them)

You're an extremely skilled young lady Ruth! Don't forget to make time for yourself somewhere along the line, you'll be no good to anyone if you spread yourself too thin...

That's what the walking in the hills is for :) I originally did my degrees in sport science (BSc) and Physiotherapy (MSc) but couldn't get a job anywhere when I graduated due to the 2000+ graduates all scrabbling for the few jobs on offer nationally ... hence I ended up where I am now :)

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger n'all that :)

I'm going to win the lottery - which is pretty exciting, when you think about it.

I don't often play, but this time, luck is on my side...

LOL, that's a very crazy website you have there Mike, thanks for sharing.

I agree, any win on the lottery would be good, like yourself, I only play when I'm going to win something...
