I have a problem that needs urgent solution!
I have to print invoices to some pre-printed A4 paper. The problem is that I have to print 2 invoices/page (A4, portrait), and i can't put the second invoice to the good position. The first is OK, but the text of the second one (wich has to begin aproximatelly 3 cm's under the first invoice), is begining to soon, around 1,5 cm under the first. What can I do? What is the solution for this problem? It is very important for me, because the text I have to print on the secod invoice has to go to specified placees of the pre-printed paper.
Till this moment the invoices were writen manually, but now with my aplication that contains all the data i need, it should be more easyer to print the invoices. I have to print 600 envoices every month, and the number is still growing every day.
Please help me! Any solution is a good solution if it's good for me.
Thanx!

If you move the fields down on the report, surely they should move down!

Can you post a sample of the db?

How?

I'm new over here. How can I send you the sample?
Thanx!

When you reply, there's the option of attaching it to this post - "Manage Attachments". It'll need to be zipped and as small as possible! There is a limit which I can't remember - but it'll tell you when you try to upload it.

In the way I made the report, moving down the fields is not a solution. For this I supose I should insert a kind of "page break" or something like that to make 2 different section in the detail section. But is this possible?

The way I made it, the detail section is containing all the data, and the detail section is small enough in height to repeat itself on the page. This way I have 2 Invoice/page. But the second it's on bad place, the distance beetwen this two invoices should be bigger, but don't know how to format the page. On the bottom side of page is a big unused place, wich should be enough for me, but i can't deal with it. I don't know how to make it "avelable, free" for me.

Can anybody help me?

It's not that simple

On your report design, select: File / Page Setup

Decrease your bottom margin (currently 15.4mm)

This will in effect give you more space to work with. (Thus you can lengthen your detail section in order to move the next record down).

I did it!

Hello everybody!

Thanx a lot for your help. I decrased the report margins, but this wasn't enough. So, I deactivated the report header/footer section and that way I made a little more space for detail section. This was just enough for me.

;)
