I have 2 shippers in my warehouse [North Jersey] that will have to go to auction. We have sent the certified letters but I can't get a straight answer on the next step. Even the Board of Consumer Affairs gave me a vague reply. I have done this before and we had to have a public auction that was advertised in 2 newspapers. But this was yaers ago and I don't have it commited to memory. Anyone know the fine details or maybe could shoot me a link for something we could download? The red tape so far has gotten pretty thick and we have gotten nowhere quick. Thanks in advance to anyone who might chime in.

Perhaps I'm missing some vital point, but how does this relate to an MS Access DB?

I understand that this is the WATERCOOLER, but I also think that this is taking the conversation in a different direction than usual. I think more information may be necessary before any opinions can be provided.

My brain must of esploded, cause I would have sworn this was originally in the General forum

Big John: it was in the general forum I moved it. Seemed to me that this was the most appropriate place for it and I could keep my eye on it. There have been a few posts lately that are a bit wierd to say the least. They keep talking about moving house or asking for directions. Can't see the logic behind this as being the best place to ask these questions.

Also one thing to note is that if you see a new post where the font or pitch is different from the norm then this has been cut and pasted from one forum to another. So I suspect the posted has asked others elsewhere and got no response.

Thanks David.
I really thought I'd gone mad, as there was no indication that it had been moved.

Oh how delightful! David has given us a little mouse to play with. LOL.
I think it's a great idea to throw bizarre threads like this into the watercooler!

Daniel/Sarah

Why not find an auctioneer in the Yellow Pages and ask them?

And they all lived happily ever after... with the exception of the OP who has yet to sumit anything creditable (not my words, the words of others) who was busy trying to calculate what 2 ^ 63 was.

Big John

Told you I was watching this evolve.

2 ^ 63 equals then number of grains of sand you would put on the last square of a chess board if you put one on the first square, two on the second, four on the third, eight on the fourth, etc.
