Hi, I'm Wayne.

Wrote a fair bit of code in Access 2003 20+ years ago. Now trying to get back into it with Access2016.

Lots of changes since 2003.

Used VBA to do most of the populating of forms and reports back in the day. Joined to get
back up to speed with Access2016.

Hello, Wayne, and welcome to the forum.

I remember Ac2003. It was pretty decent. Hopelessly out of touch now, but decent for the technology of the time.

A few years ago I tutored a Dentist who wanted to start learning to use Access in his business. Really amazing guy, great enthusiasm.
He had Access 2003 and wasn't interested in paying a dime for anything else, tho I told him I could get A2007 for $20 on line.

Frankly, I couldn't find anything he was missing in 2003! I challenged me to list and really explain to him why - and I couldn't.
Anything I brought up, I quickly realized was no big deal and could be easily worked as-is.

When Office 2007 came out, my biggest pain point was the same as most touch typists - alt menu's.
Took me a long timeto get over losing them. (some will say they're still there, but there's nearly useless compared to the old ones)
