I'm not about to take this thread down or close it without consensus from Jon and the moderators. But at some point, the law of diminishing returns would probably apply. Your efforts are mostly wasted here given the constrained audience.

No amount of 'shutting' down the Qur'an will ever stop Muslims from proclaiming it in other ways. Even those who have burned the Qur'an have not succeeded. If all the copies were destroyed, the Qur'an would appear again as many Muslims have completely memorized it.

And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?
Qur’an – Surah al-Qamar (The Moon) 54:40

51. It is not fitting for a man that Allaah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal, with Allaah’s permission, what Allaah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise.
52. And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee (Muhammad): thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,-

Those who reject our signs are deaf and dumb,- in the midst of darkness profound: whom Allaah willeth, He leaveth to wander: whom He willeth, He placeth on the way that is straight.

They want to extinguish the light of Allaah with their mouths, but Allaah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.

In Australia it is illegal to discriminate on the basis of religion. Except of course for religious enterprises such as faith based schools who are allowed to discriminate against those who don't subscribe to their beliefs. It is hypocrisy of course but that is a fundamental tenet of religion.

There are many Qur'anic verses regarding the hypocrites, which is a fundamental tenet of the irreligious. Here's one.

56. Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a FIRE. Every time their skins are ROASTED through We will replace them with other skins so they may TASTE the PUNISHMENT. Indeed, Allaah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.
145. Indeed, the HYPOCRITES will be in the LOWEST DEPTHS of the FIRE - and NEVER will you find for them a helper -
168. Indeed, those who DISBELIEVE and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allaah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path.
169. Except the path of HELL; they will abide therein FOREVER. And that, for Allaah, is [always] easy.

SALVATION

And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allaah. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
50. And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allaah and obey me.
51. Indeed, Allaah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path."
52. But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allaah. We have believed in Allaah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
53. Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."
54. And the disbelievers planned, but Allaah planned. And Allaah is the best of planners.

That's not hypocrisy. It would be hypocrisy if the religious institutions were showing up at job fairs at other religious institutions of other faiths, demanding to be let in.

As-is, it's just an implementation of the obvious way to resolve the fact that religious institutions should be allowed to operate.

It is God, the Creator, who alone decides the definition of who is a disbeliever (kaafir), which is one who REJECTS Him after knowing He exists and dies in that state. The biggest kaafir is Iblis (Satan). It is not the created who decides the rules.

Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allaah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allaah ? Then will you not be reminded?
