You can't continue to throw out insults and get away with it because people agree with your ideology.

I'd say your blanket statement that it's not due to regulation is a bit too blanket.

They just passed a "tamale law" in Arizona to sort of enable the people who do stuff like selling tamales on the side of the road - make them more exempt from the stringent and extensive foodservice regulations.

The people who passed the law would disagree with you; they'd say removing these regulations helped a lot of small businesses

Of course it does.
But, that is not what this national conservative propaganda fiasco is about at all. It's about lowering the cost, and employment requirements, for large companies that kill people and destroy lives indiscriminately.
Why do you suppose Chevron was in the name of the Supreme Court ruling and not Mamma Ramirez' Road Side Taqueria?

This is not about enchiladas, it's about the crown letting us eat cake, and for our trouble, poisoning the water supply.

Well .. I beg to differ. My conservative philosophy, speaking for myself, is less suffocating regulations for all.
When it helps small businesses, that helps my country. When it helps large businesses, that helps us as in we all have jobs there, or most of us do.
Obviously some oversight is needed - it's a question of degree, it's a question of extent.

I'll tell you why Chevron was the name, and not the taqueria - because Chevron had the money to take their case up high.
Mama did not - and THAT'S exactly why big regulation is tough for small businsses to stomach.

As with anything related to tradeoffs there has to be balance. Too many regulations or security and you cannot be productive or do anything efficiently. Too little and innocent people get affected negatively. BTW, I never said you were twisted, I said that was twisted thinking, which of course was related to what you commented about. Nothing personal, I appreciate you added flavor to some of these discussions. At least we can discuss things.
