Had one for my lunch today, but unlike Rich I do not butter the bread, I use multigrain dry. It was followed by a couple of custard slices, I like to eat a balanced meal.

Never tried it with demerera sugar, I think I would be tempted to eat as a grilled Danish sandwich in that case.
