Sad news. Although I have never met him and all that stuff, it is sobering to realize that those who paved the way are leaving us. Access was introduced to me while I was still a young man - to me, Access will to some extent ALWAYS be shiny and new, even if I am not.

Always sad to hear of someone passing, particularly when that someone helped so many people in so many ways. I never met him but I knew the name. RIP Ken.

I met him once at a Microsoft convention in 1999 where he was a co-speaker at an Access session. My impression of him was a humble man who cast a big shadow.
