Bash Ken thread

You are right, it is a special sense of humour.

Any country (as small as England) that could give away the two pieces of dirt called Australia and America has to have a special sense of humour:D

You blokes fucked up big time on those deals:D
When did we give away Oz?

So you still want to claim as your own.
We have to keep an eye on it to stop it from becoming too ized............

It makes me feel good that you are watching over us:)

Ken, if people have got nothing better to do than bash somebody else then they are the losers, knowing Colin and Rich, even if only from the forum, I think that they are taking the mickey. Paul is a different kettle of fish, just ignore him.

Is it better to be bashed or ignored?

Brian

If only Ken would - he likes to cause trouble though.

The thing about our little piece of "dirt" (as you call it) is that you can live anywhere on it. In Oz, about 90% is uninhabitable desert, which is why you all have to cram in around the coast.

This confuses me - Paul was banned for using offensive language, a similar word to the one you used above.
You however, seem to be able to use the same language (which I find offensive) with no penalty whatsoever. How come the same rules don't apply across the board?

I know....and that gives us all that space to shoot on and live cheap.:) And
that you can live anywhere on it
is like my saying I can be anwhere in my lounge room. What do have there, maye 1000 miles X 500 miles or similar.

I don't know. Maybe he used the word in a malicious manner.

So I offend you.....obviously that is the case otherwise you would not have mentioned it. I would suggest that you either harden up or use the scroll bar.

Perhaps, but what is the reason for you using such words?

Or you could refine your language - there are ladies present sometimes, a gentleman should not swear in front of a lady.

Oh I forgot - you are Australian, where the men are men (and so are the women). That'll be why you get away with it so many times.

Yes it is.
No, it isn't, Tess.
The adjective 'subtle' is nobody's strong point, Brits included.
That should be in the 'best joke' thread - that's a good one Fifty.
No, I suppose not. British humour is just beyond some people - subtle is not an American strongpoint.
Should have been

It's nice to have these deliberate errors thrown in, from time to time, just to keep everyone on their toes. ;)

You mean like Benny Hill? Kenny Everett? Gordon Brown? Britain is just as good at producing slapstick as the rest of the world :D

Recently, I discovered that I am a big Jeeves and Wooster fan. I have only been able to see two seasons so far (the CDs are hard to come by)

I don't get this one
"...he has to kill his own food because civilization is a little scant in the South..."

what has civilisation got to do with killing your own food -
thats a stupid statement - all meat is killed is a butcher less civilisied (?) than anyone else - is a farmer who kill's his own chicken etc ...
no - that statement isn't worthy of any real merit -
If we had to kill our own food to eat then we might have a better understanding of animal welfare ...

also you could be miles away fromt e nearest person does this make you less civilised -

no - this is a bad statement - I know its been tagged on to another statement - but it jsut doesn't work

Ken kills for sport not food:mad:

Are you implying that men who are not australian are not men? This seems a dangerously pro-Australian stance for you to take.

Australian men seem to spend more time trying to prove it by telling everyone how macho they are. As do the women.

I was saying Ken has to kill his own food because civilisation is scant in the south, - i.e modern civilisation (like supermarkets etc) seems to have bypassed the southern USA, so therefore they need to resort to primitive methods of survival.

Yes, our meat is killed in a hygenic controlled area - not by some wannabe Wyatt Earp (like Ken) running round like some kid wielding a rifle.
