MS office 2019 (1 Viewer)

Good Morning from the UK. I am currently testing out MS office 2019 on my home laptop. All seems fine even when I open a database created in MS 2010, all the References are updated from Office 14 to Office 16 , However when I try the reverse and open a database in MS 2010 ,created in Office 2019 certain reference are missing. Examples are Word, Excel and Outlook object library. I would appreciate any info of other anomalies.

All aspects not yet fully tested.

same is true with all newer version of software, it is backward compatible.
office 2010 cannot see the feature of newer version, it is always backward compat.

to get round the backwards compatibility issue, use late binding - see this link for an explanation and an example

CJ London, thank you for the Late Binding Link . Not tested yet, but it appears be the answer to my problem.
