I've just added another button to go straight to the bottom of the page. It will appear bottom right as you start to scroll. There was already one for scroll to top. Hopefully some of you will find that useful.

Has anyone noticed a slight change in site speed? Looking for feedback.

this is a bit old as far as a topic in this thread, but the site can't possibly run any faster for me Jon. It's been unbelievably fast ever since you first installed the software that my brain sometimes has trouble keeping up, and that's quite a feat in its own right!

I'm going to have an attempt at caching for logged in users today, to improve speed. I will conduct a little experiment and hope it doesn't mess things up!

Jon, I think you need a PHP expert. do you need help with editing the source files? If that's what you plan on doing, why don't you post questions on the 2 main PHP forums?

It is more about (probably) server configuration, of which I am not an expert either.

actually Jon, that's an interesting issue. I don't need much sleep, nor do I need to eat very much everyday. It is a couple of gifts from the holy spirit that have been given at 2 different times....once in 2013 and now again starting 6 months ago. But you science-minded folks probably call that rubbish. this will surely make richard angry too. there are also plenty of other things going on regarding my spiritual life, but those are only told at confessions and to the monks I trust. The entire story is quite bizarre, but whatever is going on, I am using it to do good in the world and help the poor and needy people. and like I said in that PM to you, when my website is finished I'll send you the link to it so you can see how that is going to help people like you out greatly as well.

I generally get only 2-3 hours, and it is broken between 2 to 3 stint of short sleeps.
