Sorry this is a joke ..This shows that if you got money you can get away with anything - this is disgusting and reflects very badly on the US legal system .

And I am not one to to start slagging the Yanks off , but my god
talk about a corrupt system

this is a disgrace, on a society of the free and equal

Unfortunately this has been this way, for the most part, for as long as I know. If you are "well-known," and have the financial resources to hire high-powered lawyers, you get the "First Class" treatment. Believe me, it sickens a lot of us but apparently not enough.

You know me Bob - not one to be anti - American
but my god this really does take the Piss .

THe law should of come down hard on a celeb - to show that they are not above the law

some of the judges have done this in the past and this has come accross well
but this

What's a person to do? I think there's a lot of power behind the entertainment industry and, while you can get some that aren't swayed by it, a lot of the judicial and law-enforcement (and it appears in Southern California greatly) are just puppets of the studios. That's not to say all of them are, but at least my perception based off of previous incidents would point that direction; a form of corruption, eh?

Don't buy her stuff - i know you buy her perfume(only kidding)-

FREE AT LAST!
There is nothing better in America than being rich and famous. Just ask O.J. Simpson. To celebrate her release, Paris will probably be going out tonight to get drunk... and drive home.
This must be a proud day in the State of California, with every precedent in law there is a lesson learned, and the ramifications in regards to repeat DUI offense convictions are astounding!!! MADD load your guns!

C'mon guys. I'm sure she learned her lesson.

Learnt - hell no, Rich bitch incapable of learning , all she can do is buy stuff , does not value anything or anyone. this might of been an ideal time for her to learn a life lesson, but what has she learnt , mommies/daddies money got her out of trouble(again)

those that are born into money and spolit I am afraid don't value anything , those that earn it - good luck to them and they value it and other people, when i did student work - bars, waitering, chef-ing . those that earnt their wealth were always polite and thankful those that inhertited looked down at you as if you were scum, (there were a few exceptions) - but this littel girl (as she is not a woman) will continue with her emptyhead nothingness , and she has very littel to say , there bound to be a book about her expereinces and hows shes a changed person , bollocks!"! she should of done her time, or be put in a mental institute, for the duration
It really anoys me that justice has not been done (I would have been equally anoyed if it had happend here in the UK - )
I ramble - no.. I rant

there bound to be a book about her expereinces and hows shes a changed person

Accompanied by a new album filled with "songs" inspired by the hard time she served with hardened criminals and other nefarious types. :D

Sorry Rich, but she not just rich , she RICH
you know me and my grammer/spelling - kinda way out there.
but apolgises again Rich.

I don't think there'll be a book. I don't think Paris Hilton fans can read.

Ex con cred

Paris will never be as cool an ex con as Martha Stewart...;)

I know I have hit on this before about celebs being held accountable for their actions, but will say again. all this is going to tell our children and those daft enough to think this twit is a celebrity, so she got caught on tape having sex thats her claim to celebrity, because I can almost guarantee that film has outsold all of her "legitimate" work combined. all it tells our children is that because she has money and a famous name she is not to be held responsible for her actions. ok so her publicist didn't tell her that she couldn't drive drunk on a suspended license, its not her fault she violated her probation by breaking the law and driving while drunk or without her headlights on in the middle of the night while speeding.

ok starting to ramble and rant will leave now

I think this story is brilliant, the TV and media are having a field day here ripping apart the USA and making the USA (yet again) a laughing stock of the world.

Why is it that she can get out after 3 days after being found guilty, when those in Guantanamo are there years without trial, just for looking 'suspicious'

There's no doubt, this episode with Ms Hilton has yet again set the USA right back as a corrupt country where money talks and the justice system is a two tier system that is a total joke.

I think its brilliant - you don't need "USA bashers", you do it so much better yourselves:D

Can't wait for the next USA episode.

Ah but wait, she might have to go back to jail for a few more hours because the judge hasn't had his cut:rolleyes:
