Site changed to secure (1 Viewer)

Host is going to upgrade the version of this forum tonight during off-peak. We hope that will fix things.

FWIW, I had the "unable to find the ...access world forums... site" (actually was a longer message) on first click, but worked with no visible delay (i.e. nearly instantaneously) on second click to the same bookmark.

I'm using whatever is the latest Firefox for Win7/64 bit.

New Posts just worked for me, so maybe the upgrade worked. That said, I couldn't get to page 5 of this thread via any means.

Same as PBaldy. Page 5 is indicated but ends up on page 4.

The New Posts list only shows 4 pages though.

Maybe this post will push it over?

This thread looks ok on Tapatalk...

"List New Posts" button works.

With the display set to 30 posts per page I can't get past page 2 on Chrome. I can only see this by setting it to display 40 posts per page.

However uploads appear to working again;

Hey guys, looks like the upgrade went well. Things are working again. Phew! Was all a bit stressful, as they had problems upgrading the forums before due to a previous hacker damaging the backend.

Lets see if we find any issues over the next few days.

I've just reset my page display and can report it now is working properly - thanks Jon. I know it's a pretty unloved task managing a forum.

These kind of things are the scariest, because although my host has backups, I have done database consultancy at many places where the backups were not actually working! The other scary thing was the http to https change, as this might affect rankings of this forum in the search engines.

Anyway, I think most of the hard work is done and we are back to status quo.

While I'm at it, a quick shout out of thanks to all the mods on here who help keep these forums running smoothly for the benefit of all. They are the real champions here.
