Paris Hilton - out of Jail

The Paris Hilton debacle is appalling, but serriously Rich and Col do you believe that we are all equal under the law here, even taking the Freeman case mentioned earlier can you afford him? if not, and I seriously doubt it, then the fact that the lawyer makes a difference answers the question.

But this isn't about a lawyer, Hilton was sent to jail by a judge, the district sheriff's dept. let her out. Just who runs America?

so you're saying I'm not educated? and what the hell would you know about my education?
about as much as you know about my experiences, beliefs, safety, political ideology, sexual orientation, oil consumption, and global viewpoint as an American...smartass:rolleyes:

I can't hang around here all night - I've got a chinky waiting for me

Col

Name calling? resorting to Ken's old trick now - normal USA procedure.

smartass
A person who, by means of purpsose or not, uses sarcasm to have a laugh. A person who, on a regular bases, annoys the hell out of people with their sarcastic-attitude.
That's not name calling, you wonderful little ray of sunshine:cool:

But that's odd because when we've pointed out how riddled America is with injustice we're branded anti-American etc.etc

Actually it's when you imply that only America is flawed and use hypocritical examples to prove your point that you're considered to have gone beyond honest criticism and entered the realm of being a raving twit...

Though to remind you, I've already covered what labels I would use for you if I were the type to label, which I'm not. "Sockpuppet" is starting to sound like a good candidate too....

If America is so unjust, what's wrong with being against it

Whoo hoo! I guess Col and Rich will have to find something else to rant about. They can't seem to find anything in the UK worth mentioning. ;)

Whoo there, neither of us actually started this thread. I also noted several pages back that she was to be returned to the court. I note however that Sheriff Lee Baca was not held in contempt by the court, how odd:confused:
Now as for not talking about the UK, we regularly pass comment on injustice here, the prime case being Bliar, his policies, and in particular his aim of turning the UK into the US and using the so-called terrorist threat to bring in Bush's draconian measures here. I've often commented that he's as big a twat as Bush as regular viewers will know:rolleyes:

You miss the point that your leader keeps coming on MY t.v. claiming to be the leader of freedom and democracy around the world, with Gitmo and statute of limitations, do me a favour, if that makes me a raving twit in your eyes, guess who needs help. Where's the hypocrisy by the way?

Has that been decided? If so, it is odd.

I seem to remember an occasional odd comment here or there. ;) I won't bore you with doing a count of American comments vs. UK comments. :D

I'm sure it was just ignored by the judge

Well of course, there's a lot more of you and a lot more work to do:p :D
