Jon
I also like the notifications and posting images seems a lot better now.
Please could you investigate whether reverse order view is possible as a member option. It was a great time saver. Jump to New is useful but not the same.

I would have asked this question in the Moderators forum area but its nowhere to be seen. How would I go about banning a spammer with the new system? Similarly how do I deal with moderated posts e.g .by new members or those in the repository?

Sorry to be dense but what does the 'Following' info mean? My list includes a lot of people I've never heard of including new members. Are those in the list following me?
If so, where would I see a list if I chose to follow others?

Yes, they try to make human friendly urls. Good spot!

Has anyone noticed the little toggle buttons on the right that let you collapse unwanted sections of the forum? I put that add-on on there so it is similar to the old forum.

I did now but since I mostly go to *New Posts* not a big deal for me.

no, but hey, where is the control panel!? did that disappear? I can't find it.

Just noticed the little arrow bottom right to jump back to top. Thats a bonus.

@vba_php Click on your profile name top right of forum.

@moke123 Well found! It only appeared for me when I scrolled slightly upwards.

Jon, you already know that this exists: https://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/threads/welcome-to-our-new-home.309090/post-1663891. but this upgrade is literally *exactly* like over at Mr. Excel. let me test this as well....
Code:
'this is VBA code
dim db as dao.database
dim rs as dao.recordset
written as => "[ code = vba ]" <=

does it work??? hmmmm....doesn't look like it. that's supposed to be color coded....do you have the ability to fix that, sir? =)

Try the SQL option. The SQL looks good, and is better than what we had in the old forum....

The ads are coming. I am trying to work out the best add-ons to use. With the last board, I had to get my hands dirty but editing the raw code. It is a bit easier on this software, although I am not sure there is quite the same level of control.

@Uncle Gizmo Are you saying you can just use the SQL option as a solution?

@Uncle Gizmo Didn't you used to use Tapatalk on the old forum? Have you looked at this forum on your phone yet?

Has it been noted that if I reply to a post and then hit New Posts, the thread I just posted on is not listed. i assume that's because it doesn't contain anything "new" since I posted, but I still like to see all threads listed.

funnily enough I was just looking at the forum on Tapatalk. It doesn't appear to be loading on the Tapatalk platform, although old posts are currently showing.

this is => [ code = sql ] <=

SQL:
select * from table

this is => [ sql ] <=

[sql]select * from table[/sql]

Ok tony, I got it. thanks! but hey Jon, I still think you need to get ''VBA'' tags. can you?

I noticed that, and thought the same.
