Hi Guys
I came on to give a quick update but am still still a bit numb by the news of David Crake.

Hazel and I are touched by all the best wishes, she is still in hospital and the scans and tests seem a little inconclusive but her swollen abdomen appears to be the result of fluid retention and they are proposing to start draining that, hopefully that will relieve the breathing and eating problems although some of that may be the result of her recent radiotherapy, her long running illnesses continue to confuse the issues.

Thanks again

Brian

Brian,

My thoughts and prayers go to you and Hazel, I pray she has the best medical support and care, as I know how things can go as my wife has very complicated medical conditions.

But as you work through this, one thing to let you know is that the community you are so much a part of is sending you love and prayers.

Take care of yourself as you take care of Hazel.

Trevor

It has turned out that the fliud in my wife's abdomen has cancer cells in it, apparantly she has secondary tumours following her recent breast cancer. It would apperas that she will need Chemotherapy, this is very risky for her as her immune system is very depressed by her myelo fibrosis.

I looks like my visits will continue to be variable, I've been on a bit more oftenn recently as I have not been sleeping but must try to not get involved and risk leaving people midway.

Thanks again for your best wishes

Brian

Brian,

Sorry to hear about this news. I know it sucks. Keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy and full recovery. My thoughts are with you and your wife and family.
