Col, I'll respond to comments and questions to several of your recent posts in this thread.

CIA is "Central Intelligence Agency." Sometimes it invites comments about how that is an oxymoron. In theory, the CIA will ONLY operate outside the USA, leaving internal threats to the FBI which is now part of the Department of Homeland Security.

Normally I would jump on you (and in the past HAVE jumped on you) about half-caste - but in Harris's case, 1/2 is from India where the caste system is still unofficially in force, so you might be right in a strict usage of "caste" as I understand its history. I don't know. But you should be aware that such language is technically incorrect anyway if you were trying to say "biracial." Race, in the sense that most people use it, is a chimera. It doesn't exist. Since Kamala Harris is (by your standards) half-and-half and yet has children, it is proof that it is all one race - the HUMAN race. If there WERE such a thing as race, she would be sterile due to that mixed heritage.

If so, we have not found one yet, but I think the REAL problem is that there is SO much economic division that economic pressures are powering part of the split. The liberals want to start handing out free money on a regular basis, something called GMI - Guaranteed Minimum Income. It is a movement to pay people just because they exist, without regard to whether they pay taxes ever in their lives. Those of us who worked our butts off and are now on a fixed income will object to this because, basically, why should a bunch of no-good bums live off the work that WE did? I believe you have commented about people "on the dole" and how they cause such a drain on the national treasury.

You also asked about impeachment. It is a two-step process. First there is an impeachment hearing in the House of Representatives. It is like an indictment in criminal cases. But the Senate, the other chamber of Congress, must then convict. Impeachment has occurred a few times. The closest Congress ever came to conviction (and thus removal from office) was during the term of president Andrew Johnson, who came within one vote of being convicted and thus removed from office.

@The_Doc_Man if you have read about me in introduce yourself forum, you should know I'm half blood too. So it may be interesting for you to know that almost any country I've traveled to, call me and behave me as a half. Mostly meaning less than a person. Or not a complete one. It's true and it doesn't hurt when someone tells me that I'm half. I always thought myself as a half blood.

But there's an exception to above. When I was in Japan, I found out calling someone half, is somehow disrespectful. They used to call me double. Because I've inherited everything from two races. Ever since, I'm more proud of what I am.

On the other hand, if you read further, you would have noticed than I then promptly debunked Col's whole bit about "half-caste" in regard to persons. No person EVER has a choice in regard to their birth parents. And according to biologists I have met, "race" in the divisive sense that it is often used just isn't a measure of reality. There is no merit to it.

If it's all the same to you, I'll say you are 100% a member of the human race and perhaps have a somewhat mixed ethnic heritage, as do I. My mixture is less remarkable than is found in some people, but it is mixed among many different countries in Europe, plus a small dollop of Native American. Just not enough for me to claim tribal heritage.

I read a good article by Jonathan Turley that shows legal precedent going both ways, but a quite strong seeming one in favor of not being able to impeach an out of office person. Something about Blount. At the end of the day, it's just ridiculous to impeach an ex president. Next time the Republicans are in power will they impeach a few just for good measure? Where does it end? It's ridiculous.

Funny, you might not believe this, but I have a certain amount of respect for the strategic and tenacious nature of Democrats, I mean they are a formidable force - especially when constantly playing the race card - that I try not to underestimate. But this impeachment thing is really one of their dumbest moves yet. Biden is ALREADY upset at them for distracting from actual work. It being the SECOND attempt - likely to fail again on either actual vote grounds or on constitutional grounds at the USSC, just makes them look petty. I mean anyone who doesn't think they looked vindictive and aimless the first time is very likely to think so now finally. They shouldn't be doing this if they want anyone to think the first impeachment was legit; doing this just makes people wonder about the whole thing.

So liberal in the dictionary sense would be the opposite of authoritarian which brings us to the Democrat party whose members are referred to as "liberals". They are no such thing. They are totally authoritarian. They believe that government should control everything. They also don't believe in free speech. They believe that speech should be censored and that THEY and ONLY THEY can decide what speech should be suppressed. They are "liberal" in the sense of being generous but only with MY money. Their platform is designed to take money from me and give it to someone they think is more worthy. It's like ten people in a room. Nine of them decide to knock you down and take all your money because they deserve it more. Is that Democracy? Is that charity? It is neither but it is the position of the Democrat policy.

He, with the stroke of a pen, put 11,000 American workers out of a job (other sources say the number is closer to 46,000 because of the community impacts of 11,000 having no job and/or leaving which kills the local businesses also) Then with the stroke of a second pen (we only sign one bill with each pen so people can get them as trophies.), he gave citizenship to ostensibly 12,000,000 but it is probably closer to 25,000,000 criminals (if you break our immigration laws you are a criminal regardless of what a nice person you are and how deserving you are and any one who is working in the US is probably doing so with a stolen SSN and so they are also identity thiefs) who are poorly educated and don't speak English well enough to get a complex job so they compete with the lowest income strata. Hey, I got the pen that put thousands of people out of work. I got you beat. I got the pen that added millions of poor people to our welfare system. Now , that's mega bucks.

A couple of factors to consider. The Democrats dropped the impeachment against Nixon when he resigned. They so no point in pursing the impeachment process.

Second, Biden called for healing and unification. Trump is out-of-office, the Democrats have achieved their objective. Continuing the impeachment charade will only tick approximately 74 million voters off. (The impeachment itself was also unjustified, which is a theme that gets lost.)That makes a mockery of Biden's call for healing. It also fully displays the Democrats blood-lust to destroy the opposition. This is all third world politics. That makes the Democratic Party the threat to democracy.

Next time the Republicans are in power will they impeach a few just for good measure? Where does it end? It's ridiculous.

Democrats don't seem to think about the repercussion of their actions. They are the proverbial hateful inflamed mob at the castle gate out for immediate carnage. As soon as Democrats have 51% of the voting power they seek to impose the "Tyranny of the Majority". Those in the minority have no rights. To reiterate, Biden in his inauguration speech said that he would govern for all the people in the US, even those who did not vote for him. That is turning into a massive lie. All the "bones" that Biden tossed-out so far through his Executive Orders only benefit the "left". Biden is also demonstrating a colossal failure in leadership by letting the divisive unconstitutional impeachment process to proceed. Biden, has shown no interest in serving all the people in the US.

I would appreciate if you could use words and phrases that actually mean something. For example-
'Antifa', 'the woke people want you', 'the CIA is on their side' - who's side? 'You're digging yourself in deeper' - that's a total mystery to me.
As you're a Yank, I understand English is not your first language, but everyday words and phrases used in the USA are not necessarily known beyond the white picket fences of your borders.
