Incorrect, or as you like to put it, Fake News!
The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet has today decided to award
the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
with one half jointly to
William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura
for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites
and the other half to
Tu Youyou
for her discoveries concerning a novel therapy against Malaria
William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura discovered a new drug, Avermectin, the derivatives of which have radically lowered the incidence of River Blindness and Lymphatic Filariasis, as well as showing efficacy against an expanding number of other parasitic diseases. Tu Youyou discovered Artemisinin, a drug that has significantly reduced the mortality rates for patients suffering from Malaria.
Well at least Rolling Stone ran a retraction. It is not a treatment for malaria as your statement implies. It can be a tool to cut down on the prevalance of malaria as it apparently kills the mosquitos who feed on bloodmeal containing ivermectin before the reproduce. In 2015, the Nobel Committee for Physiology or Medicine, in its only award for treatments of infectious diseases since six decades prior, honoured the discovery of ivermectin (IVM), a multifaceted drug deployed against some of the world’s most devastating tropical diseases.
Playing word parsing games. So the award was shared. They still have a Nobel. Big deal, considering your regurgitation that ivermectin was a simply a de-worming agent for animals thereby implying that it was not fit for human use and then posting the image below.

I never said there wasn't a human use for ivermectin. It's just the idiots who are taking the animal versions of a drug from Walmart that has not yet been proven to be an effective treatment for covid. Will it in the future? Time will tell. It took nearly a year to prove the vaccines effective and they still don't know all there is to know about covid, the vaccines, or other treatments.
I'm not seeing how his post was incorrect. He stated something, you then said it was wrong, but then repeated & proved it with a quote showing it was right. Except you left out the part where they actually spelled it Ivermectin, but I'm sure that was just a minor mistake.Incorrect, or as you like to put it, Fake News!

The report can be considered fake news in the sense that it never really delves into the origins of Covid. It would appear the fundamental origins of Covid could be (directly or indirectly) attributed to Dr. Fauci through the approval and funding of "gain-of-function" research. The potential that "gain-of-function" may have been a cause of Covid is not even contemplated in the Post article.President Biden on Tuesday received a classified report from the intelligence community that was inconclusive about the origins of the novel coronavirus, including whether the pathogen jumped from an animal to a human as part of a natural process, or escaped from a lab in central China, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
