The Covid cure has arrived!

Johnson & Johnson wanes a lot. Something like 6% effectiveness after 6 months.
I was shocked to hear that the other day 😐

Gives false hope. The UK has more Covid now than this time last year.

I am Vaxed
I had to either comply or lose my job - comes with the territory when you accept a Gov contract. Wavered for about 2 days and even worked on an exemption request based on religious beliefs. Finally said "screw it" and got my first dose about 2 weeks ago.

I am such a sell-out...

I am vaccinated, but continue to chuckle at the strange way some people are approaching this, along the lines of:

1. "I don't want to die of COVID"
2. "Vaccines will help me not die of COVID"
3. "Yay, I got the vaccine! I'm protected now!"
4. "Now, YOU MUST GET THE VACCINE TOO, SO I DON'T DIE OF COVID!"

I just shake my head sometimes. It's like, Dude, you got the f** vaccine. Why can't you just let others make their own choice?

Remember when Fauci issued his official governance on how to handle sex on dates in COVID?
Just a funny memory. OK back to work for me now. (or is it?)

What next Bio-Weapon admission? Oh wait that's still in the conspiracy theory phase

Biden coughs directly into his hand then turns to shake the imaginary person's hand behind him. Then proceeds to infect real people by going maskless and shaking hands. Let's go Brandon!

i was in ohare yesterday and i told my brother 'i want to have them page Lessco Brandon so i can be like that guy on tik tok', he said Go for it! - but ultimately, i chickened out. i worried that someone would run up behind me in the 5 seconds that it would take for the pager's coworker to tell them what had just happened, and tell me i'd been "misusing federal airport resources" or something.

given the people we have in jail for trespassing and taking a photo, i felt i couldn't be too careful!
hell, i know homeless people who don't even spend the night in jail for trespassing.

Just got back from a week in Tennessee, there were so many references to "Let's go Brandon" it was everywhere.

SEN. RAND PAUL: When you look at COVID-19, it doesn’t even seem to infect bats very well. It doesn’t infect an intermediate animal. They checked 80,000 animals at the wet markets in Wuhan. None of the animals at the wet market would accept COVID-19 or were positive for it. But it looks like it’s most well-adapted for humans. So this is worrisome, and yet more evidence that this, in all likelihood, came from the lab.(emphasis added)
Kind of troublesome. If Covid doesn't seem to infect bats, it a bit difficult to claim that it came from bats to infect humans!!

Looking at the ridiculous thing that is the Rittenhouse trial, which is proving what everyone already knew, a part of me wants to say "it's confusing to me why anyone would have charged him in the first place". But of course I know better ... and that's the most troubling

Watching that Gen-Idiot dude with the fancy hair admit that Rittenhouse only shot him after he ran toward Rittenhouse with a gun pointed at him WAS rich, though - a true, moment-of-truth TV moment!

The Rittenhouse trial persecution, as well as with what is happening with Covid and those who participated in the Jan. 6, 20021 patriotic rally, points to a greater issue. That is the politicization of out legal system to serve the political goals of the far left, not to apply the law.
Democrats applauded all of this as it happened. Most Republicans just ignored it. And of course, the media lied about it. In Kenosha, the police barely even showed up. Officers in armored cruisers sat and watched as rioters torched a car lot with more than 100 vehicles in it. And they did nothing to stop the chaos.

The question, then, is how exactly are we surprised when a 17-year-old lifeguard from Illinois decides to step in? They hate it when you say that, but it's an entirely fair question. When legitimate authority refuses to do its duty, its sworn duty, others will fill the vacuum. That is always true. It's a physics principle. (Emphasis added)

I must say, Lady Justice, that's an awfully low-cut top! My, my my.

The Rittenhouse trial is absolutely ludicrous. And we totally knew this going in. What we didn't know is the prosecution's witnesses would keep proving it over and over! Quite fun to watch.

Now, I think of myself as a fair person: Arbery case is totally different. Those men need to go to jail.

Consistency:
1) Rittenhouse had a clear right to defend himself, his mere presence cannot be considered anywhere near direct provocation such as to nullify self defense
2) Arbery had a right to defend himself, too. Being chased in a pickup truck by two men with guns, he had every right to kill them if needed.

People have a right to defend themselves. Period. The lib's need to stop questioning that all the time, especially selectively.

Unfortunately, he had no chance.
